Adele is the biggest fan of Dwayne The Rock Johnson and during the Grammys 2023, she got to meet him. It was her moment when Grammys 2023 host Trevor Noah approached Adele’s table to make a long overdue introduction.
Adele previously revealed that she will cry if she ever meets him. Noah said, “The person that Adele has always wanted to meet is Dwayne Johnson… I found out he’s a huge fan of yours, too.” After hearing this, Adele looked overjoyed. Despite teasing that he didn’t have Dwayne Johnson ‘here tonight,’ Noah revealed to the legendary performer that he did have ‘someone called The Rock’ with him.
However, after grabbing her boyfriend Rich Paul’s shoulder, in surprise, Adele stood up quickly and received a big hug from the former professional wrestler-turned-actor. Adele and The Rock went on to greet one another with a kiss on each cheek, which left her beaming from ear to ear.
However, The Rock recently got candid about how the moment was planned. Johnson admitted he had known for some time that Adele was a fan of his, adding, ‘We wanted to do something special for Adele.’ ‘I know that she is a very big fan of mine and has made that clear publicly many times,’ Johnson said.

The wrestler-turned-actor shared, “But I’ve got to tell you, I am a huge fan of hers, as well, her music, her journey, her openness and directness in how she speaks. I’ve always admired that about her.” Johnson had been filming his new Netflix film Red One, though he had hoped he would be able to wrap in time to attend the Grammys with his wife Lauren Hashian, who he recently sang within a commercial for his energy drink Zoa.
For the unversed, Adele previously revealed to the YouTuber NikkieTutorials, “Someone that I’ve never met that I think I would actually cry is The Rock.” She added she was, ‘the biggest wrestling fan when I was younger,’ adding Johnson sent flowers once when he couldn’t make it to her One Night Only show in Los Angeles, as she admitted when she got the flowers, ‘I nearly fell off my chair.’
