After a long halt due to the coronavirus pandemic, many filmmakers have resumed shooting for their upcoming ventures. The actors are back in action and looking forward to wrapping up the shoot to avoid further delay. On Tuesday, actor Dwayne Johnson took to his social media handle to share he has officially wrapped up the shoot for Red Notice.

For the unknown, Red Notice is an upcoming project that will be premiered on the streaming giant Netflix. Apart from Dwayne Johnson, it also features Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds in a pivotal role. The plot of it is about an Interpol agent who attempts to hunt down and capture the world’s most-wanted thief. The thief apparently steals artworks.

After recovering from the COVID-19 infection, Dwayne Johnson returned to the sets of Red Notice. He also has posted many behind scenes on his social media handle to tease the fans. Indeed, the audience is eager to see Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson share the screen space.

Meanwhile, taking to his social media handle, Dwayne Johnson announced that he has officially wrapped up the shoot for Red Notice. He shared a picture of himself with filmmaker Rawson Marshall Thurber alongside a thank you note.

In the picture, the actor-director duo is donning face mask and maintaining social distance. A part of the caption read, “That’s an official wrap on RED NOTICE.”

Johnson also acknowledged the fact that the film shot in two phases. One was pre-coronavirus era and two amid the COVID-19 pandemic with all the said restrictions.

The caption further reads, “Our movie has had quite the amazing/challenging journey and it’s been a pleasure going shoulder to shoulder with you again. Keep on keepin’ on.”

Reportedly, Red Notice will premier on Netflix in 2021. The makers haven’t yet announced the release date.

On the work front, the former WWE star will be featured in Fast and Furious 9.
