But the typically stylish Dua Lipa took to her Instagram and insisted that ‘everything is totally fine’ while slouched on a snow-covered bench in New York. The pop star kept the cold at bay beneath a leather trench coat and tucked her raven tresses into a luxury headscarf.
Dua Lipa was wearing chunky black boots perfect for stomping through the snow. Meanwhile, she protected her face from the subzero temperatures with an oversized pair of sunglasses. The hit-maker also showed off her flawless lilac manicure. The post comes after Dua lauded her ‘tight’ circle of family and friends for keeping her grounded as she graced the digital cover of WSJ. The chart-topper stated that despite her superstar status, she feels ‘comforted’ that ‘no one really, truly knows what happens behind closed doors,’ and ‘not everything is out there,’ after it was reported she’d split from boyfriend of two years Anwar. Dua, who is about to kick off her Future Nostalgia tour, also revealed that despite spending much of her life in the UK, her Kosova heritage is ‘a big part of who she is.’ Talking to the publication to promote her podcast and newsletter, Dua explained that despite interest in her love life, she’s managed to keep many things private.
The singer then said, “Something that I’ve realized over time is how little people actually know. I’ve made peace with the fact that people can think what they want to think, but no one really, truly knows what’s happening behind closed doors.” She went on explaining, “My circle’s really tight, my family and my friends keep me so grounded, and it gives me some kind of comfort that not everything is out there that would take away from your life and privacy.”
