Since basketball player Kevin Durant was diagnosed with COVID-19 just days since his parting with the rapper, Drake has undergone self-isolation.
Durant is one of four squad members who tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, a week after he was seen hanging out with Drake at the Nice Guy hotspot in West Hollywood, notes aceshowbiz.com.
As a precautionary measure, the “Life Is Good” hitmaker has now put himself in isolation, notes Page Six of the New York Post.
Last week, Drake posted a snapshot of the friends ‘ night out on Instagram, and ironically referenced death in the accompanying caption that reads: “Life is a race and the grim reaper catches up… till then glasses up.”
The Canadian star has yet to comment specifically on his interaction with Durant, however, when he showed off a video footage of his indoor basketball court at his Toronto house, he recently pointed at his home alone status.
Following the news of his diagnosis, Durant, formerly a Golden State Warrior, told The Atlantic that he felt good and had not experienced any of COVID-19’s flu-like symptoms, but encouraged fans and supporters to stay healthy in the midst of the current health crisis.
“Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We’re going to get through this,” Kevin Durant said.
