The latest Snow White trailer dropped on Tuesday, offering a fresh enchanting look at Disney’s live-action remake of the beloved 1937 iconic classic. The 2-minute 24-second long trailer showcases a more rebellious and empowered princess Snow White, played by Rachel Zegler who is set to restore her kingdom after her stepmother Evil Queen, played by Gal Gadot seizes control.
As Snow White getaway to the woods, she meets the seven dwarfs who become her allies in her quest to reclaim her kingdom. Asking support from them, Snow White says, “The Queen stole everything from all of us. I’m going to need your help.”
This new adaptation of Snow White puts a spotlight on Rachel Zegler as a strong, determined character rather than the passive princess we’ve seen in previous versions. The trailer teases Zegler’s powerful performance including her emotional ballad Waiting on a Wish. While fans of the original film will notice familiar elements like the Evil Queen’s iconic line, “Who is the fairest of them all?” as well as the poisoned apple.
Directed by Marc Webb and featuring new songs from The Greatest Showman duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, this Snow White trailer hints at a live-action musical with both heart and spectacle. The film promises a modern twist on the classic story with themes of courage, leadership and redemption. Set to hit theaters on March 21, 2025 the movie also stars Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman and Martin Klebba as Grumpy.
