Did Shakira Just Confirmed That Gerard Piqué Cheat On Her?

The latest post comes just weeks after Shakira and Gerard Piqué reunited in court to ratify their separation child custody agreement.

Shakira recently takes a subtle swipe at her ex Gerard Piqué. The singer shared a cryptic post about healing after betrayal on New Year’s Day. The singer and the former FC Barcelona player who share sons Milan and Sasha announced their split in June after 11 years together.

The singer started the New Year off on a positive note. The singer penned on Instagram, “Even if our are still open in this new year, time has surgeon’s hands. Even if someone has betrayed us, we must continue to trust others.” She continued, “When faced with contempt, continue to know your worth. Because there are more good people than indecent ones. More people with empathy than indifference.”

Shakira added, “The ones who leave are fewer than the many who stay by our side. Our tears are not in vain, they water the soil our future will spring from and make us more human so that even while suffering heartache we can continue to love. Shak.” The latest post comes just weeks after Shakira and Gerard reunited in court to ratify their separation child custody agreement.

The ex-couple announced their separation in June after 11 years together. Meanwhile, last month, they said that they’d come to a suitable arrangement for their children after a 12-hour talk. They formally signed the agreement in Barcelona, entering and exiting the court separately while flagged by their legal teams. Gerard is said to have given his blessing to his former partner’s move to Miami in the New Year with their two sons to avoid a lengthy legal battle.

Just a few months after Shakira and Gerard’s breakup, the singer teased her new song Monotonía with a very cryptic video. The singer-songwriter took to her social media and shared several clips before unveiling a photo of the song’s cover art. Shakira shared three quick videos, all in Spanish. The three clips translated to, ‘It wasn’t your fault,’ ‘mine either,’ and ‘it was the monotony’s fault.’

The next video showed someone crushing a realistic-looking human heart. Alongside the video, she penned the caption in Spanish that translated to, ‘I never said anything, but it hurt. I knew that this would happen.’ Her upcoming song seems to be a dig at her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique. The couple announced their split in July after 12 years of relationship and cheating allegations soon began to swirl in the Spanish tabloids.
