The Solo (2018) singer and actor is rediscovering herself yet again post finishing the tumultuous love affair with ex Max Ehrich and certainly is all set to give all her fans a sweet surprise in the form of a new song where her dedication proves the old idiom of let your talent make the noise true.
The 28 years old Grammy nominee Demi Lovato, out of the blue just ended up surprising all her fans on Wednesday with the release of her new song titled “Still Have Me.”
Where by in the first verse of the musical ballad she sings, “I’m a mess and I’m still broken / But I’m finding my way back / And it feels like someone’s stolen / All the light I ever had,” “Like the world disappeared / And I’m laying right here / While the silence is piercing / And it hurts to breathe.”
Demi had already done the announcement hours earlier on her Twitter account through a tweet which mentioned that her song is on its way.
She had captioned the tweet as, “Music is always there for me… song in the am”.
A popular global weekly magazine confirmed the fact that the singer called it quits with 29 years old actor Max Ehrich only after six months. They both had started dating two months after he proposed her on a beach in Malibu.
A source close to the singer told the magazine that, “Demi’s feeling a sense of relief after seeing Max’s true colors, She’s in a really good place and already jumping right back into work and spending time with friends and family.”
Also a source close to the Young And Restless Alum speaking to the magazine spilled the beans and said, “He is heartbroken. He’s not responding to friends again, and he is in a fragile state.”
Max who had been in Atlanta filming and shooting the movie Southern Gospel was totally in love and completely blindsided by Demi. He wrote on his Instagram Story on 26th September that he got to know about their engagement being over “through a tabloid” and later publicly begged her to contact him. He also wrote, “If you’re reading this … I love you always … unconditionally … no matter what”.
Wednesday was the first time since March 2020 that Demi has released a solo song.
In January, she debuted with her single “Anyone” at the Grammy Awards. Five weeks later in February 2020, she came out with another new music single titled “I Love Me.”
In the meantime, Demi She also released her song collaborations with Sam Smith titled “I’m Ready” and Marshmello “OK Not to Be OK”.
