Around two months ago, Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich parted their ways after a 6-month long relationship and two-month-old engagement. The reason behind their split is considered an alleged misunderstanding between the two. However, after the fairytale engagement, no one saw the breakup coming. In her recent appearance at the People’s Choice Awards, Demi Lovato threw shade at ex Max Ehrich by mentioning ‘unengaged’.

While delivering her open monologue, Demi Lovato confessed that 2020 has been the longest three years of her life. She also admitted the fact that it started on an amazing good note. The 28-year old singer recalled that she performed at the Grammys and also sung the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. However, later the COVID-19 struck and everything shut down all of a sudden.

The Sorry Not Sorry singer further added, “I did what everyone else did, I went into lockdown mode and got engaged.” Later on, Demi Lovato threw shade at ex Max Ehrich by mentioning the unengaged part.

She said, “I also didn’t know this could happen but reached the end of Instagram four times. I binged seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars, got unengaged, then went looking for aliens in the desert, so basically the same as everyone else.”

Furthermore, Demi appreciated the fact that how in difficult times also people found ways to stay connected.

After her breakup with Max Ehrich, singer Demi Lovato is keeping herself busy by focusing on her work. On the other hand, Max is hitting headlines for his rumoured affair with former American Idol contestant Sonika Vaid.

Neither of the two has confirmed their relationship but are often spotted together and make the rumour mills churning.
