Demi Lovato Pays Heartfelt Tribute To Grandmother Sue Hart

Demi Lovato shared a series of snaps of their grandmother while revealing that Sue Hart was a very 'giving' person.

Demi Lovato has recently taken to the Instagram story to share a heartfelt tribute to their grandmother Sue Hart after she passed away. The singer-songwriter shared a series of throwback photos to their Instagram story in which they lamented the loss of their beloved relative. They wrote on the first post which showed Lovato standing next to Hart with a big smile on their face, “This hurts so bad.”

They continues, “I’ll miss you and our phone calls so much, Grandma. I miss you already @merryhearts,” they continue followed by several broken heart emojis. The Heart Attack singer’s next post featured several different generations of their family posing together. “4 generations in one picture. She’s with Mimaw now,” they wrote over that photo.

Afterward, Lovato revealed that Hart was a very giving person, writing that she ‘saved three lives donating her organs’ over a headshot of their late grandmother. Lovato also added a couple of pictures from other Instagram accounts including, one their grandmother posted several years ago that showed her and an unidentified man giving Lovato a kiss on each cheek.

Though it is not clear who the man in the photo was, it may have been Sue’s husband Joe, Demi’s grandfather, who passed away in July 2020. They also posted a link to their mother’s, Dianna De La Garza, post which read, “My heart is broken today but I know you’re flying with the angels now… give Daddy a kiss on the cheek for me and tell him I love him. Y’all have lots to catch up on… I love you forever, my sweet funny beautiful Mama I’ll see you again one day.”

The photo showed Sue in a pink ensemble as her daughter held her tightly, their cheeks rubbing against one another. However, Lovato ended their Instagram photo set on a hopeful note by showing fans that they had found a bird’s feather in their ‘meditation pyramid.’ They then shared a text post that explained feathers have been known to symbolize ‘angels, ascension, wind, and connection to a higher realm.’
