COVID-19: Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Donates $400K To Four Hardest-hit Hospitals In New York

Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively reached out a much-needed hand on Monday as New York grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic and local hospitals strive to safely treat patients due to diminishing stocks of protective equipment.

Yet again, Hollywood celebrities Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively came forward to do their bit during the Coronavirus pandemic. And this time by donating USD 400,000 to New York’s worst-hit hospitals. The development comes two weeks after the couple provided Feeding America and Food Banks Canada a total of USD 100,000.

He also joined with Canadian PM Justin Trudeau to encourage followers to stay home and stay safe.

In a funny video Ryan said “I think in times of crisis, we all know it’s the celebrities that we count on most. They’re the ones who are gonna help us get through this. Right after healthcare workers, of course… first responders, people who work in essential services, ping pong players, mannequins, childhood imaginary friends, like 400 other types of people.”

“Look, stay at home, practice social distancing, wash your hands. We are gonna get through this thing together,” he concluded.

Ryan & Blake are currently staying healthy with their kids as they maintain social distance amid the increasing pandemic of coronavirus.
