Coldplay Wraps Up India Tour 2025, Calls It ‘Unforgettable’ In Heartfelt Note

Coldplay wrapped up their five-concert series in India on Republic Day. After Chris Martin singing Vande Mataram for Indians, here's what they wrote for Indians in their farewell letter.

After their impressive concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, the British band Coldplay concluded their Music Of The Spheres India tour. Their final and largest concert took place in Ahmedabad on January 26, and it was also livestreamed on Disney+ Hotstar, allowing fans to enjoy the spectacular performances of Chris Martin and the other band members. As the tour wrapped up, Coldplay shared a heartfelt message, expressing that their two weeks in India were unforgettable.

Coldplay Thanks India Post India Tour 2025

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Coldplay reflected on their time in India just hours after their final concert in Ahmedabad. They shared a photo of the packed stadium, illuminated by dazzling lights and spectacular fireworks. The band stated, Thank you Ahmedabad, thank you India. We’ll never forget these two weeks. Your love and kindness will stay with us forever accompanied by a heart emoji.

Coldplay wrapped up their five-concert series in India as part of the Music of the Spheres World Tour. Followed by a three day concert show in Mumbai, on 18th. 19th and 21st January, the final show took place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, setting a record as the most attended musical concert in Asia, with over 1,34,000 fans in attendance.

During the performance, Chris Martin captivated the audience by singing “Vande Mataram” in celebration of Republic Day. He also interacted with the crowd in both Hindi and Gujarati. A special highlight of the evening was when Martin invited a couple to join him on stage to perform “Everglow.” Alongside Chris Martin, the band features guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer and percussionist Will Champion, and their manager Phil Harvey.
