Chris Pratt has showered praise on Chris Hemsworth. In a recent interview, the actor talked about working with his Marvel costar, whom he described as being an actor unlike any other he’s collaborated with before. Pratt said, “I love being able to work with Chris Hemsworth. He is like Thor in real life. He’s the sweetest dude. Super funny. Works so hard.”

Noting that it was ‘great’ and he ‘loved every minute’ of shooting the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder alongside Hemsworth in the star’s home country, Pratt continued, “I’m so grateful that they brought us along. It was neat to see him bring this to Australia and shoot it there, with all of his fellow countrymen.” The soon-to-be father of three also praised director Taika Waititi, whom he described as “outrageous.” Pratt added, “His style is so unique.”

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Pratt stars Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, who is from the franchise’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies. The duo will share the screen once more in this summer’s Thor: Love and Thunder, which released its first teaser trailer last month only. Alongside Pratt and Hemsworth, the film also stars Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale and Dave Bautista. The upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Love and Thunder will premiere in theatres on July 8. However, Chris Pratt was surrounded by controversy this year when a fan asked director James Gunn to replace Pratt as Star-Lord with Patrick Wilson. However, Gunns handled the demand cleverly.

Gunn first questioned the basis of the request, “For what? Because of your made-up, utterly-false beliefs about him? For something that someone else told you about him that’s not true?” The director added, “Chris Pratt would never be replaced as Star-Lord but, if he ever was, we would all be going with him.” Chris Pratt debuted as one of the original members of the cosmic team in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Before then, he was best known for starring Andy in the hit sitcom Parks and Recreation.
