Chris Pratt Praises Chris Hemsworth With Thor: Love And Thunder BTS Photo

Following Love and Thunder's release in theatres, Chris Pratt took to his social media to share a BTS photo from the set while praising Chris Hemsworth.

The highly anticipated sequel to Thor sees Chris Hemsworth reprise the titular role as the God of Thunder for the first time since Avengers: Endgame. Love and Thunder pick up with Thor an indefinite amount of time after the events of Endgame, with Thor and his team travelling the galaxy. While the Guardians aren’t in the film for long, a strong bond has been created between Thor and star-lord aka Hemsworth and Pratt.

Following Love and Thunder’s release in theatres, Pratt took to his social media to share a BTS photo from the set while praising Chris Hemsworth. The star called Hemsworth the perfect Thor while thanking Waititi for including the Guardians and Australia for being so hospitable towards the cast and crew. Alongside the snap, Pratt penned, “Nobody on Earth is more right for Thor than this man, Chris Hemsworth. What a stud. What a star. What a movie! Forever grateful.”

The actor then concluded while thanking director Taika Waititi for including them. Pratt then added, “thanks to everyone in Australia who took such good care of us.” This is not the first time Pratt has shown Hemsworth love and the God of Thunder himself has also taken to social media to praise his fellow Chris. Chris debuted as the God of Thunder Thor in 2011. However, the actor almost lost his beloved role as Thor to his younger brother Liam Hemsworth.

In a recent interview with MensXP, Chris was asked about exploring the Multiverse in future Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and potentially interacting with alternate variants of his Thor character onscreen. Chris suggested that Liam could be a cool casting. While referencing the Multiverse not being central to the new movie Thor: Love and Thunder’s plot, Chris shared, “In this film, it’s not something we explore.”

The actor added, “But who knows if there is more in the future as you say it has opened up multitudes of options we can head in or be taken in.” Thor actor revealed, “My little brother almost got cast as Thor.” He then jokingly added about possibly sharing the screen with Liam, both as versions of Thor, “He was one of the first people who got right down to the wire on getting the part so, I don’t know, I could cross paths with him. That will be fun.”
