Chris Patt is known for starring in television, as well as in action and animated films. He has had leading roles in movies like Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy. In Jurassic World, he worked with Irrfan Khan and was amazed by his acting ability and elegance. The 2015 Jurassic World movie was a sequel to the original Jurassic Park trilogy. In the movie, Chris played Owen Grady, a Navy veteran and dinosaur handler.
Irrfan played the role of Simon Masrani, the CEO of Masrani Corporation and the owner of Jurassic World Park. In an interview with Times of India, Patt recalls working with Irrfan and said, “He was just such an elegant man like, down to his fingernails. There was just an elegance about him. He was also so powerful. It’s really a rare combination for there to be such strength in softness. And that’s what I would call elegant, he could do very little, and still, he would be doing so much.”
Chris also told the outlet about Irrfan’s subtle nature and his amazing acting skills. “Just by his sheer presence, and his sheer charisma, that he would bring to a role. One tiny flick of an eyebrow, or one tiny little move, was so powerful,” he added. Irrfan Khan was fighting a long battle with cancer and passed away in April 2020. Several Bollywood, as well as Hollywood stars, took to their social media to address the actor’s demise. Chris Patt wrote on Twitter, “So sad to hear about the passing of screen legend @irrfank Irrfan Khan played Masrani in Jurassic World. He was an exquisite actor and human. He will be missed.”
At the moment, Chris Patt is waiting for the release of Jurassic World: Dominion, which is the third part of the movie series. The third part is also directed by Colin Trevorrow and is going to release in theatres in June. The movie stars all the original Jurassic Park cast members but Bryce Dallas Howard is a new face. Chris Pratt also recently wrapped up filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which is scheduled to release on May 5, 2023.
