Chris Evans is now officially off the market, according to a recent report by People. A source revealed to the outlet that Chris has been dating Alba ‘for over a year and it’s serious.’ The source also added, “They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”
The news was revealed as a result of alert followers’ suspicions raised by the duo’s social media behaviour. According to reports, Chris started following the Portuguese actress in 2020, and in June 2021, she followed him back. Scott Evans, Chris’ 38-year-old brother, has since followed Alba. Chris has also been photographed in Alba’s native Lisbon, and there are rumours that Chris and Alba spent New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles in 2021.
Chris revealed to PEOPLE that he hopes to one day get married and have children after being named the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in an interview. “That’s absolutely something I want,” Evans told the outlet. “Wife, kids, building a family.”
“When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared,” he further added. “So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.”

Although Evans did not talk about his relationship in the interview he noted, “I just think it’s very wise to recognize that you might not know. It’s wise to recognize you could be wrong. It’s wise and mature to be able to say ‘I’m sorry I made a mistake,’ to be vulnerable and not always be looking for the argument or take things to an argumentative place. That takes a lot of maturity and I find that very sexy.”
