Chris Evans Confirm He’ll Not Return As Captain America In Future MCU Films

It’s time to say goodbye to Steve Rogers aka Chris Evans from the future marvel films. The Defending Jacob star confirms in the Graham Norton show that he’ll never play Captain America again. Even his contract with Marvel ended last year and so does his journey as Cap. However he had previously hinted that there might be a slight chance of him returning as the first Avenger, Chris said, “It’s not a hard no, but it’s not an eager yes either. Recovery is not the same. You never say never. I love the character. I don’t know.” The Snowpiercer star recently appeared in The Graham Norton Show, where Chris was asked if Endgame is the end for Steve Rogers, to which he answered, “Yes – I think it is. It was a great run and we went out on such a high note that it would be risky to revisit it in my opinion. It was such a good experience and I think it’s better left that way.” Evans as Captain America was the most lovable character of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Seeing him welding Thor’s Mjolnir in Avengers Endgame is and will remain the most precious moment in MCU history. Well it’s really heartbreaking to all the Captain America fans who were hoping that Chris will return to MCU.
