Chris Evans Addressed His Accidental Private Photo Leak Like A Pro!
After making headlines on his Instagram Story for accidentally posting an NSFW picture, the Avengers star Chris Evans is trying to find a positive side to it.
The star was prepared to improvise about the mishap on Monday though — and make the most of a less-than-ideal scenario.
Hinting at what happened on Twitter, the actor used this chance to ask his followers to vote in the forthcoming election.
“Now that I have your attention…. VOTE Nov 3rd!!!” Evans wrote.
The actor’s Avengers costar Mark Ruffalo gave him some help during Chris Evans accidental private part snap leak mishap, telling Evans that the images weren’t too bad due to Donald Trump’s actions.
“@ChrisEvans Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself,” Ruffalo cheekily commneted on Saturday’s Twitter post. “See… silver lining.”
A number of stars on Monday were swift to support Evans for the tweet.
Billy Eichner followed the example of Evans, posting on “Some hot pics here:” as he posted a Vote Save America referral link.
Evans’ Knives Out Costar Jamie Lee Curtis said, “My boy! Proud of him. Got MY attention!”
In an interview with Tamron Hall Chris has since discussed the incident.
He said, “It was an interesting weekend full of lessons learned. A lot of teachable moments. Things happen. It was pretty embarrassing. You’ve got to role with the punches. I will say I have some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support.”
Meanwhile, Evans has recently created A Starting Point, a bipartisan fact-based platform (website) on key election topics and policies.
“Our goal is to create a chain of connectivity between elected officials and voters to create engagement,” Evans while talking about the same told PEOPLE in July. “To try and just create a little bit more involvement from the public with the political arena.”
“It’s not that I’m specifically drawn to politics. It’s just when you look around, you try to figure out how can you help,” he told added.
“There’s a lot of things you can do as an actor with your name,” he continued. “I could be making booze — I don’t discourage anyone from doing that, I love booze — but there’s no denying that I played a certain character, and it just so happens to align with part of my nature in terms of being someone who is politically involved and who cares about the wellbeing of people in this country.”
“You have to use your platform to do more than just retweet things.”
Evans had a really hard time getting attention from you all so are going to Vote? Let us know in the comments.
