The Weeknd celebrated his 32nd birthday on 16th February. And recently his pal Drake gave fans a glimpse into the bash. Taking to Instagram, Drake posted a series of photos from The Weeknd’s 32nd birthday party in Las Vegas. While sharing the snaps, he wrote in his caption, “We’ve done everything like it’s nothing… isn’t that something.” The carousel featured the fellow musicians dressed to the nines as they enjoyed a crowded party.
In one photo the two shared a hug while Drake held a beverage in his hand and smiled big. The Degrassi alum wore large diamond stud earrings as well as a gold chain with a pendant around his neck. Drake held a microphone in his hand in one photo and showed off a sparkling ring on his pinky finger. The OVO founder sported a flashy watch and shielded his eyes with a square-shaped pair of sunglasses.
The Weeknd also had black sunglasses on his face as he rang in his 32nd year. In one photograph, Graham stood behind a casino table with a drink and his phone set in front of him. The Hotline Bling hitmaker also took to his Stories to share an additional shot of him and Tesfaye laughing together. However, on his birthday, The Weeknd also announced a new TV special based on his latest album Dawn FM.
The Weeknd x The Dawn FM Experience will premiere Saturday on Prime Video, and additionally will be featured as an eight-track live EP on Amazon Music. “I’m ecstatic to partner with Amazon to premiere the most elaborate live TV special I’ve ever done,” the Blinding Lights singer told NME. “Welcome to the next phase of Dawn FM, a purgatory otherworld where live performance, theatre, and performance art collide for a night out at the club,” he said.
