Just recently, there were rumours going around that Chaney Jones and her boyfriend, Kanye West have gone their separate ways. However, Chaney took to her Instagram and TikTok to wish Ye on his 45th birthday. “Happy birthday baby,” she wrote along with a black heart emoji. The video that Chaney posted, featured the duo sitting courtside at a basketball game and while out and about in public. The video was set to ‘Show Me Love’ by Alicia Keys and also Chaney wrote, ‘I love youuuuu.’
On June 7, TMZ reported that Ye went to watch Top Gun: Maverick with another lady, namely Monica Corgan, signalling the end of Ye and Chaney’s romance. Chaney appears to have reinforced the split rumours by cleaning her Instagram account of any photographs of him, leaving only two posts (as of Wednesday morning). The two of them still follow each other on Instagram. When Chaney was asked about her being compared to Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, she said, “We don’t speak about her.”
Kim was more forgiving of Ye’s new romance mirroring her. “I just want him to be happy,” Kim stated on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast back in April. “She appears to be the sweetest, like, I’m just…whatever makes you happy, I don’t care what.” I believe that will reflect in your life, your career, [in] everything… I honestly want him to be happy. Truly.” Chaney attempted to mark her romance with the rapper by getting what appeared to be a ‘Ye’ tattoo on her left wrist weeks before the breakup allegations surfaced.
Chaney posed in front of a candle in a shot shared to her Instagram Story, wearing a tube top that barely fit, tight Balenciaga slacks, and shoes. A little “Ye” emerged in cursive on her wrist. The tattoo bears Kanye West’s legal name, ‘Ye,’ prompting some to believe Chaney was in this relationship for the long run. Ye and Chaney started dating immediately after his separation from Julia Fox in February 2022. Julia’s publicist told HollywoodLife, “Julia and Kanye remain dear friends and collaborators.” Ye and Chaney have been around the world and back in their relationship.
