Celine Dion Postpones Concerts As Tested Coronavirus Symptoms?

Celine Dion is the latest celebrity to be detected for Coronavirus after exhibiting cold symptoms that had her in danger of contracting the deadly virus.

Celine Dion, 51, has reported the Coronavirus as negative. Since experiencing cold symptoms, the iconic singer was tested for the infection but luckily, her diagnosis was merely that of a common cold.

“On Monday night, a day after completing a six-show run in the New York area, Celine began feeling the symptoms of a common cold,” a message was posted on the singer’s Facebook page read. “The symptoms persisted into Tuesday, and her doctors instructed her to rest for the next 5-7 days. After testing her, the doctors concluded that her virus was not related to COVID-19.”

Although, for the sake of her health, Celine will still be spending the next few days resting, which meant that she had to cancel two concert dates on her COURAGE world tour. Her performance at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C., on Wednesday, March 11. It was postponed to Nov. 16, 2020, while its Friday, March 13 show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was rescheduled to Nov. 18, 2020, at PPG Paints Arena.

“I’m so sorry for disappointing my fans in Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh,” Celine said in a statement. “I hope everyone understands….I hope everyone understands.” Celine stated. Celine will have almost take two weeks to recover with the cancelation of those two shows before her tour resumes in Denver, Colorado on March 24.

While the number of cases of Coronavirus in the United States rises, celebrities are taking major precautions to protect their health. Even many people were wearing face masks although traveling on flights, some also had concerts canceled. It even postponed the Coachella Music Festival until November!

Stephen Curry has also been screened for Coronavirus, but his tests have also been negative and it has been reported that he is just battling a bad case of flu. However, after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for the disease, Katie Couric made the decision to self-quarantine. You can never really be extremely cautious!
