Cardi B rocks a hot red sequin gown with a dramatic feather cloak in the first red carpet appearance since giving birth. The Bodak Yellow rapper puts her impressively fit post-baby figure on display on Tuesday at the Mugler runway show for Paris Fashion Week.
The 28-year-old rapper was in Paris for the Thierry Mugler: Couturissime exhibition at the ‘Musee des Arts Decoratifs’ as part of Paris Fashion Week. For her come back, the star wore a stunning, avant-garde gown covered in fire-red sequins, courtesy of the featured designer.
The look also featured a plunging, crystal-encrusted bustier, matching elbow-length gloves, a curve-hugging silhouette, and a towering, feather-trimmed cape. As for beauty, Cardi went with coordinating bedazzled eyebrows and a glossy nude lip.
The new mom of two return to the spotlight after welcoming her second child, a son, earlier this month. Cardi B took Instagram to share a glimpse of her showstopping look, captioning alongside the photos, “MUGLER MAMI.”
Cardi B’s surprise appearance in Paris is the rapper’s first major event since welcoming her second child with her husband, rapper Offset. The rapper was also photographed living her best couture life in a curve-hugging black dress with a see-through floor-length skirt in France on Wednesday, September 28. The Grammy winner has also changed up her signature black hair to a vivacious Marilyn Monroe blonde.
She shared a series of photographs on Instagram with caption that reads, “Thank you @manfredthierrymugler for including me in such a historical night, the opening of your exhibit in Paris! Truly one of my favorite creative minds in the WORLD! I’m mind blown looking at your collections from over the years. A true Genius!”
Expanding her family hasn’t stopped Cardi from staying booked and busy. The rapper has made a number of high-profile appearances on recent hit tracks, including features on Normani’s highly anticipated summer single, Wild Side, and Lizzo’s recent hit, Rumors. This year, Paris Fashion Week kicked off on September 27 and will run until October 5. Hundreds of brands will be showcasing their 2022 Spring collections.
