Cara Delevingne Opens Up About Being Pansexual

Actress Cara Delevingne revealed that she will always remain pansexual, and also said that she falls in love with a person, not the gender. Read below to know more.

A few months back Cara Delevingne was hitting the headlines because of her break up with Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson. The lovebirds were going strong after making their relationship official last year and didn’t shy away from PDA before they split back in December or January. They both sparked rumors about dating each other when they were snapped kissing each other in August 2018.

Although Cara has not admitted about the break-up, but confessed, “I’ve always felt bad for anyone I’ve ever been in a relationship with. It’s very hard to maintain the normality in it.” The Paper Town actress also mentioned that that is the reason why she tends to keep her private life a lot more private. She thinks that public thing can actually ruin a lot of things.

Meanwhile, a couple of weeks after their breakup, Cara has come out as pansexual. In a recent interaction with Variety, she said, “I always will remain, I think, pansexual.”

Delevingne further added, “However one defines themselves, whether it’s ‘they’ or ‘he’ or ‘she’ I fall in love with the person — and that’s that. I’m attracted to the person.”

Back in 2018, Cara Delevingne opened up to her fans that she identifies herself as sexually fluid. She also admitted that she never had a thought of ‘coming out’ but she felt like this is who she is and everyone needs to know that.

Cara said that she grew up in a repressed English family, where admitting that she was gay was really difficult. So she decided to brush the topic under the carpet to not upset her family but that made her feel sad and depressed. She said that not loving a part of yourself or yourself really gets tough on your mental health.

Cara then recalled her fear of revealing that she was attracted to women to her father after one heartbreak. She said, “Once I could talk about my sexuality freely, I wasn’t hiding anything anymore.”

The actress confessed that she was terrified that she might get kicked out of her home but instead she found acceptance.
