Camila Cabello Is Taking A Break From Social Media Until The End Of 2021

Camila Cabello was busy during the holiday season as recently she performed mariachi version of the holiday classic at White House.

Camila Cabello has recently announced that she is taking a break from social media. The singer took to her Instagram Story to inform her followers that she would be offline until the end of the year. Camila wrote on her Instagram story, “going on a lil social media detox till the new year.” “just wanna spend a little less time on my phone this week x love y’all,” the Havana hitmaker explained.

Camila Cabello was busy during the holiday season. Last week, she performed a mariachi version of the holiday classic I’ll Be Home For Christmas for President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden at the White House. Camila was joined by Mariachi Herencia de México, a ten-member group from Chicago, Illinois, for the concert which aired on December 21 during the PBS special In Performance at the White House: Spirit of the Season.

Camila Cabello also shared a clip from the performance and penned, “such an incredible honor to perform again at the white house. wishing you all a wonderful holiday with your loved ones.” However, this was not the first time that Camila performed in front of the President. The Cuban-born star first performed at the White House for Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign during the White House’s Easter Egg Roll in 2015. The following year, Camila hit the stage with her former band, Fifth Harmony, at the 2016 Tree Lighting ceremony for Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, last month seems like a little hard for the songstress as her two-year relationship with Shawn Mendes. Camila and Shawn began dating in July 2019 and, the couple decided to end their romantic relationship in November. However, they will continue their relationship as friends.

However, it is hard for fans to believe as they look so much in love. The couple celebrated their second anniversary this summer. The couple are best friends before they started dating each other. While promoting his album Wonder, Shawn Mendes spoke about how close he’s always been with Camila even before they started dating, saying, “She’s been one of my best friends since I was, like, 15 years old.”
