The Korean lawmaker added saying that Military service is very sacred for South Koreans and that he’s also very proud of the septuplet band for the recognition they have bought to their country, through their art.
“BTS has promoted K-culture worldwide and has advanced the prestige of the nation” he added. Although the service is mandatory, certain individuals have been given exemption from the enlistment, as they are allowed to put off their service. Mosy these are given to Olympic gold medalists and other Asian games champions and well-known musicians and singers, who have bought great recognition and pride to South Korea.
