BTS Dynamite Ranks 2nd On Billboard

Korean band BTS brand new English single ''Dynamite'' has helped BTS to achieve a new world record by being the only non-american K Pop Boy Group to have the 2nd rank on Billboard Hot 100 for the third consecutive week.

BTS new English single Dynamite ranks 2nd (second) at Billboard charts. Moreover, BTS is the first World Wide Korean boy band group to debut on the Billboard 100 charts making them the only group who have now become the globally loved and recognized international superstars with the growing K Pop craze in India.

Furthermore, Dynamite also got a very high ranking in BillBoard’s newly introduced weekly charts: Bill Board Global 200 and Bill Board global excl. US

Dynamite has truly been a one of its kind first English single by BTS that is continuously breaking all the global records in this year of 2020. When BTS released the Dynamite official music video on 21st August 2020, it created a new YouTube record for the maximum number of views (101.1 million views) in the first 24 hours of release, and now it ranks 2nd on Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Furthermore exactly a week later, the glorious moment BTS and the BTS ARMY were waiting for finally came through with Dynamite’s official debut at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 charts, making this globally renowned boy band the first non american Korean group to achieve this milestone.

Going on with its winning streak Dynamite remained rock solid at No. 1 on Hot 100 for the second week as well which led to a condition of complete excitement among the BTS ARMY worldwide.

Last night, Billboard had lots of fun and teasing time with the BTS ARMY. Billboard team stayed up all night to find out where Dynamite would rank within this upcoming third week on the Billboard charts.

And here yet again continuing to bask in the success, Dynamite got the No. 2 position on Billboard Hot 100, just behind Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP.

Dynamite now is globally ruling by topping the Billboard Digital Song Sales with 136,000 downloads sold in its third week. This first ever English language BTS’ single got ranked No. 16 on Billboard Streaming Songs with 13.3 million US streams also leading to the fact that the only Korean Pop Band BTS got their first ever entry on Billboard Radio Songs debuting at No. 49 with 18.3 million radio airplay impressions.

But yes that’s not all and as of yesterday, Billboard has announced two new weekly charts – Billboard Global 200 chart and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. where BTS’s Dynamite held a very outstanding ranking there as well.

When it comes to Global 200, Dynamite came to the no. 2 position just below WAP (100.9 million global streams 23,000 global downloads making it the most streamed titled globally for the week) as BTS’ single got a stellar 83.4 million global streams and 36,000 world wide downloads and became the top most selling and most trending track all across the globe for the entire week.

Even on Global 200 Excl. U.S., Dynamite held its rank on No. 2 just below Maluma’s Hawai (85.3 million streams and 1000 sold) gaining 70.9 million streams and 15,000 sold.
