Britney Spears and Sam Asghari exchanged I do’s in July and the singer has recently shared more photos from her special day. She also shared a picture of her friend Selena Gomez on Instagram. One picture showed the dance floor where she and her guests cut a rug during the reception, which she captioned, “This is the dance floor at my fairytale wedding before we danced.”
The second photo in her slide was of a white limousine draped in dozens of pink roses with a ‘Just Married’ sign on the trunk, calling it ‘our special car.’ The Stronger singer also shared a photo of her friend Selena Gomez wearing a khaki top, and a colourful skirt and posing with a doll’s head in her mouth. In a shoutout to the Only Murders in the Building star she wrote, “Thank you to Selena for telling me all she wants is for me to be happy 3 times !!! It was a very special wedding !!!”
The post also included repeated thanks to Paris Hilton, Madonna and Drew Barrymore for attending. Britney and Selena don’t appear to have worked together, but The Wizards of Waverly Place actress did record a song Britney wrote called Whiplash. However, fans of the superstar will most likely be getting more information from the wedding and all things Britney when her memoir is published.
Previously, Britney Spears shared the same photo of the Wizards Of Waverly Place alum from a photoshoot, thanking Selena for attending her recent wedding to Sam Asghari along with guests Drew Barrymore and Paris Hilton. “She came to my wedding,” Britney began, referencing Selena, before shouting out Drew and Paris, as well. The singer then deleted the post. “The three most beautiful women in Hollywood @drewbarrymore, @parishilton,” she remarked of the celebrity trio. But there was one catch.
Brit admitted she had no idea they’d be among the 60 attendees at the exclusive Thousand Oaks, California event on June 9. “I had no idea!!! I was SO HAPPY!!!” she said in response to the surprise. Returning to Selena, Britney went on to describe a wonderful interaction the two former Disney stars had at the reception, even comparing Sel to her mother Lynn Spears.
