Spam Attack on Blake Lively’s Instagram

The explicit content surfaced in the “tagged” section of Blake Lively’s Instagram account, a public space unless privacy settings are adjusted. TMZ reported that Lively was initially unaware of the attack. However, once notified her team promptly updated her security settings to block further unwanted posts.

Meta spokesperson Daniel Roberts spoke to TMZ and addressed the situation stating, “This kind of online harassment is wrong and we condemn it. We are removing the content that violates our policies and will continue to monitor for additional violating posts.” And interestingly, while Blake’s profile was flooded with adulterated spam, her husband Ryan Reynolds’ Instagram was untouched.

Connection to Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

The timing of the spam attack happens amid Blake Lively’s ongoing legal battle aganist Justin Baldoni. She recently filed a lawsuit accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment during the filming of It Ends With Us. She alleged that Baldoni retaliated against her by attempting to damage her reputation through crisis PR campaign.

In response, Justin has denied all allegations and countered with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, and The New York Times over an article covering the accusations. A judge is expected to review Lively and Reynolds’ request to dismiss Baldoni’s lawsuit in an upcoming hearing.

Blake Lively’s attorneys are set to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on February 3. Reports indicate that they will seek an order preventing Justin’s lawyer from launching a public relations campaign regarding the case. If the lawsuit proceeds, both parties may face trial on March 9, 2026.
