The 19 years old mega star and grammy award winner who is also a co-chair alongside Amanda Gorman, Timothée Chalamet and Naomi Osaka this time took to the red carpet for the first time and made everyone’s jaw drop in wonder with the fact that for her first time on this coveted red carpet fashion event of the year, Billie Eilish debuts Marilyn inspired look at MET Galas 2021.

Of course she made all the heads turn and everyone was in awe with her drop dead gorgeous look this time which was a first for her and Billie was seen getting rave reviews for her Marilyn inspired ensemble outfit and look at the MET Galas 2021 this year.
19 years old singer who took to red carpet for the first time, looked absolutely breathtaking in a blush gown with a wavy platinum blonde bob.
This tulle colored gown with a long train was designed by Oscar de la Renta and inspired by old Hollywood glamour icon Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly, as revealed by the design team in a short clip.
When asked about reason behind switching up her style quotient in MET Galas by the host Keke Palmer, Billie said, “I’ve always wanted to do this. I was just scared. I didn’t feel comfortable in my skin, and it was time”.
Also revealing about how her entire look has been inspired by the love for Barbies whilst growing up, Billie shared, “The holiday Barbie was my favourite thing in the world. I would ask for it for Christmas every single year. Genuinely, that was my inspiration”.
Billie had been designed and styled by British Vogue magazine’s style director Dena Gianinni who in her quote opening up on the theme and idea behind Billie’s debut MET Gala 2021 look said, “Billie had always dreamed of wearing a proper ballgown – particularly something corseted, thanks to her love of Barbies growing up – but she thought that it might be in an acid-green colourway or something along those lines. After her British Vogue cover, though, her style began to evolve”.
And with the help of creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, Billie’s unforgettable old Hollywood-inspired look was born which has been getting her many rave and outstanding reviews from fans and netizens on social media as her pictures have gone viral on internet and taken everyone by storm too.
