From Pixar’s first long-form TV series to a star-studded adaptation of one of its most beloved theme park rides, fans get glimpses of the biggest upcoming projects. Here are the best films and Disney shows that were previewed at Disney’s fan expo in 2022.

Werewolf By Night
Filmed in black and white, the upcoming series Werewolf by Night follows Gael García Bernal as a man with the ability to become a werewolf and explores how he uses power as a means of avenging his bloodline. Werewolf By Night is scheduled to release on Disney+ on October 7.

Peter Pan & Wendy
The live-action adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic tale of a boy who wouldn’t grow up recruits three young siblings in London to join him on a magical adventure to the enchanted Neverland island. ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ arrives in theatres in 2023.

Indiana Jones 5
The Indiana Jones franchise began with Raiders in 1981. Though the fifth instalment does not have plot details currently, we know that the upcoming film will feature the further adventures of daredevil archaeologist Indiana Jones. The fifth and last Indiana Jones movie is set to release on June 30, 2023.

Avatar: The Way of Water
The highly anticipated film, Avatar: The Way of Water, follows Jake Sully and Ney’tiri, who have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans. Avatar: The Way of the Water hit the theatres on December 16.
