Ever since Bella’s highly talked about relationship with ‘The Weeknd’ ended, Bella has been keeping her love life, quite private. Apart from sharing about her mental health issues, Bella has always remained tight-lipped, when it comes to her personal life. But in July 2021, the model confirmed dating art-director Marc Kalman, instantly making headlines for the same.
Since fans got a hint about their relationship, they have been curious to know more about Marc, and their love life. But Bella and her beau Marc opted to keep their relationship out of the public’s eye, however, Bella recently opened up in a podcast about her love life and how she’s keeping ‘boundaries’, something she struggled keeping in the past. “I constantly went back to men – and also women – that had abused me and that’s where the people-pleasing came in,” she said.
As an insider source had revelaed about the couple wants to “keep it super low-key and private,” the 25-year-old shared a sweet picture, as a tribute to her boyfriend on his 34th birthday. She captioned her Instagram story, “happy birthday to my wooniiiiiii.” More recently, the two were also spotted together on a very casual ice cream date in NYC.
Bella had previously opened up about her past traumas, “I always felt like my voice was never heard growing up. I grew up around men, whether that was in relationships or family or whatever that was, where I was constantly told that my voice was less important than their voice. Then moving into relationships growing up, and not having the boundaries of being able to stick up for me and have my voice be heard, affected me in my adult relationships very intensely. My nervous system would crash. It was fight or flight.”
The young model had also shared a series of photos on Instagram and had shared how he coped with mental health issues. Bella had revealed on Instagram how she straightens with her own mental illnesses. “Social media is not real,” she wrote. “For anyone struggling, please remember that. Sometimes all you’ve gotta hear is that you’re not alone. So from me to you, you’re not alone. I love you, I see you, and I hear you” she added.
She was seen sharing a thought-provoking post. “But I want you to know, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and the rollercoaster always comes to a complete stop at some point.”
