Queen Elizabeth & Megan Markle Face-To-Face
After the Megxit declaration, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined the Queen for a church service, marking the first public reunion. The couple announced in January 2020 they are stepping down as senior members of the royal family, after which Meghan moved to Canada to be with her son.
While Harry had some more meetings with the Queen, this was the first time that Meghan and the Queen had seen each other since their announcement of the royal exit.
Sources reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looked elated and relaxed as they drove to the Royal Chapel to join Queen Elizabeth for a church service. The adorable couple is attending many events ever since they landed in the country. They even attended the Mountbatten Music Festival in London on February 7. Harry and Megan received a standing ovation and applause as took their seats in the Royal Albert Hall. Harry attended the event in his role as Captain-General of the Royal Marines.
Harry was wearing his dress uniform, studded with medals awarded to him for his two Afghanistan tours. In addition to the outfit of her husband, Meghan wore a formal gown with a high slit paired with matching pumps and diamond earrings of Simone Rocha. The 2-day music festival marked the 75th anniversary of the ending of World War II.
Harry and Megan also marked their presence at the Endeavor Fund Awards.
