Model and influencer Kendall Jenner have agreed to pay $90,000 for the settlement in promoting the scandalous Fyre Festival. Reportedly, Kendall along with other various influencers was paid a large amount of money to endorse the humongous festival, however, the festival never happened.
Kendall was sued in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York back in 2019 by Gregory Messer, who argued that Jenner did not only fail to disclose to her followers that she would be paid for advertising Fyre Festival, but that she led them to believe the festival would be filled with famous models on an 'exotic private island with first-class culinary experiences and a luxury atmosphere.

Emily Ratajkowski, Migos, Blink-182, Pusha T, Tyga, Migos, Lil Yachty, Rae Sremmurd, and more were also hit with lawsuits last year. While promoting the festival on her social media, Kendall even promised his followers that her brother-in-law, Kanye West, would be headlining the event. Messer’s lawsuit also includes major talent agencies such as United Talent Agency, Creative Artists Agency, NUE, International Creative Management, Paradigm, and IMG.
Fyre Festival which promised their attendees a two weekends-long party full of great music and models like Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Bella Hadid but, the festival was the biggest failure. The reality, as chronicled in documentary and mocked extensively, involved FEMA tents, cheese sandwiches in foam containers, and stranded festival-goers. None of the promised entertainers showed. The Fyre Festival fallout resulted in multiple lawsuits. Its founder, Billy McFarland, is serving a six-year prison sentence for multiple fraudulent schemes.
