Blac Chyna Claims Racism Was The Reason That ‘Rob & Chyna’ Got Cancelled
The Kardashian's didn't take too long to refute on racism allegations made by ex Blac Chyna, 32 of Rob Kardashian's. Since October 2017, Chyna born Angela Renée White has been involved in a legal battle with the Kardashians following the cancelation of the Rob & Chyna reality series.
The spinoff Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered in Sept. 2016, and lasted on E for just one season! Because of a break-up of the couple that same year.
Kardashian lawyer Marty Singer told to a news portal, “This is a 2 year old lawsuit in which Chyna has changed her defense more times than we can count. Sadly, unsurpising to anyone, she has stooped to a new low, changing her defense to try to leverage the emotions and pain of the moment, insulting the pain and suffering of real victims of racial injustice and systemic racism.” the lawyer continued, “We take these allegations very seriously and once again, there is no Rob & Chyna show if there is no Rob & Chyna.” Notably, neither E! Or its parent company, NBCUniversal, is named in a lawsuit against the Kardashian family.
For years, the controversy between Rob, 33, and Chyna — who are parents of 3-year-old daughter Dream — has continued. In court documents, it was disclosed that Rob admitted that during an investigation with the Department of Child & Family Services in Jan. 2017, Chyna was never physical with him. This followed separate court papers in which Rob alleged Chyna had both pointed a pistol at him.
Blac Chyna's accusations of racism in Minneapolis, Minnesota, come less than two weeks after the death of 46-year-old George Floyd — an unarmed Black man. George 's death has caused outrage over racial inequality around the globe, with many stars — including Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — donating or taking part in protests to the Black Lives Matter movement.
