In an adaptation of "French Children Don't Throw Food" actress Anne Hathaway is expected to appear in StudioCanal financed project based on Pamela Druckerman's autobiography, with Blueprint Picture is set to launch, says hollywoodreporter.com. The plot, described in tone as "Julie & Julia," follows an American journalist who travels to Paris for the job of her husband and raises a family there.
As she seeks to find a balance between her family and career and struggles with the feelings she is failing at both, she observes her French neighbors and friends uncovering the secrets behind raising well-behaved French kids. She learns that everyone has their own issues, no matter how good they may seem.
The most recent draft adaptation was written by Jamie Minoprio and Jonathan Stern. Hathaway is currently seen in Netflix's adaptation to Joan Didion, "The Last Thing He Wanted from Dee Rees." Next, she will be seen in the remake of "The Witches" by Robert Zemeckis, portraying the Grand High Witch.
