As a survivor of domestic abuse, Amber Heard allegedly insulted Johnny Depp — challenging him to "tell the world" about his broken finger, according to a report.

In May 2016, when Heard filed for divorce, the separated couple were stopped from talking to each other and pursued a restraining order to avoid the 'abusive' A-lister partner.

But the pair kept fighting over the phone, fiercely arguing over who was responsible for the blood-curdling abuse that ruined their dysfunctional 15-month marriage and accusing each other of leaking to the press.

The exchange of text messages between the former couple came after their controversial Australian 2015 blowout, where Depp filmed for the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean 3."

Depp reportedly used his severed finger during that fight — which he says was caused by Heard smashing a bottle of vodka — to smear "I love you" across a mirror.

“Amber I lost a f–ing finger man.. Come on man I had a can of spirits thrown at my nose,”  Depp reportedly texted Heard, his lawyer David Sherborne said.

“And then do you see Ms. Heard replies. She doesn’t deny it," Sherborne said in court in London, where the defamation trial against Depp is taking place.

Heard responded, “It was a fair fight … See what the jury and the judge think. Tell the world Johnny … I, Johnny Depp, a man, I too am a victim of domestic violence.”

Depp sues The Sun for libel after an article published in 2018 that labeled him a "wife beater." He strongly denied allegations that he abused Heard.

Depp 's case against the Sun relies on Heard 's claims of 14 violent events between 2013 and 2016.

This week, Pirates of the Caribbean star testified of his tumultuous marriage to Heard, which lasted from 2015 to 2017.

Throughout June and July 2016 the former lovebirds spoke multiple times on the phone, skirting the restraining order by making a family member initiates the calls according to a well-placed insider.

Eventually, Heard would give in to Depp 's plea to settle out of court, dropping her claims the next month when the couple announced a $7 million divorce settlement.

Heard is currently dating her new girlfriend Bianca Butti, and was seen arriving last month at the 4th Annual Women's March in downtown Los Angeles.

The actress has confirmed that she is bisexual and previously dated women, including photographer Tasya van Ree from 2008 to 2011.
