Antoine Fuqua To Direct A Biopic On Michael Jackson: Here’s More About It

The biopic will be produced by Graham King, who is well known for his work like The Aviator (2004), The Departed (2006), Hugo (2011).

Michael Jackson Biopic: The life of the world-famous and our all-time favourite pop singer, songwriter, and dancer Michael Jackson is soon going to be made into a film.

Tentatively titled as ‘Michael’, the biopic will be helmed by Training Day (2001), fame director Antoine Fuqua and will be produced by Graham King, who is well known for his work like The Aviator (2004), The Departed (2006), Hugo (2011), and Bohemian Rhapsody (2018).

John Logan, who wrote the scripts Gladiator (2001) and The Aviator (2004) has also penned the script for the upcoming biopic. With the director Antoine Fuqua’s hands also in it, the biopic will bring a unique touch of art and will be presented in the best possible way.

King of Pop, Michael Jackson’s legacy is the stuff of legend. He is the biggest-selling artist of all time, the most awarded entertainer. But his life was surrounded by controversy. Michael Jackson got married to Elvis Pressley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley in 1996. However, their relationship didn’t last long and Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson ended their relationship just two years after getting married.

It will be interesting to see if the film will also address these controversial aspects of his life such as child sexual abuse allegations against the late singer, or simply chose safe route of showing only early struggling period and good period of his life.
