Angelina Jolie opens up about how son Maddox comforted her as she dropped him off at college

Angelina Jolie in a recent interview revealed that she cried as she dropped off her son Maddox at college and how he consoled her!

Saying goodbye is the hardest and we can totally understand how emotional Angelina Jolie would be as she dropped her son Maddox Jolie-Pitt to South Korea for the first year of classes at Yonsei University. Angelina Jolie in her recent interview admitted that she cried and how her 18-year-old son was there to comfort her. She said, “Yes, I cried. He was very sweet and gave me a big long hug. It’s that transfer when they start taking care of you and making sure you’re OK.”

She also stated that she is really very proud of the teen she shares with ex Brad Pitt and she is also very proud of the choices Maddox made. But the one things he cannot promise is that she won’t hop on a plane to visit him in the coming weeks.

Angelina even before also spoke about how difficult it was for her to send Maddox off to school. During the promotion of her film Maleficent 2 and The Eternals at the D23 Expo last month she in an interview revealed that had an “ugly cry” moment and she bid her son goodbye.

She recalled, “I also, just at some point, had the big [sun]glasses and the amount of times I turned and waved. I do know it was the one moment in my life I think I turned around six times before the airport just…and he sweetly stayed and kept waving, knowing that I was going to keep turning around. You could feel he knew he couldn’t leave.”
