Ana De Armas Replaces Scarlett Johansson As She Joins Chris Evans In New Apple Film ‘Ghosted’

Chris Evans will serve as a producer on the film, however, the upcoming Apple movie's storyline has been kept under wraps.

Ana de Armas is set to reunite with her Knives Out co-star Chris Evans in new movie production from Apple Original Films, Ghosted. Ana de Armas is going to play the lead female character in the film, which has been described as a high concept romantic action-adventure movie.

The 33-year-old star will be replacing Evans’ frequent co-star, Scarlett Johansson, who has dropped out of the movie due to a scheduling conflict, according to Deadline. Johansson has worked on many projects alongside Evans previously, including the Marvel movies, The Nanny Diaries, and The Perfect Score.

Dexter Fletcher, who directed Rocketman, and Eddie the Eagle, will be directing Ghosted. Meanwhile, Evans is going to serve as a producer on the film, and the No Time To Die star will be an executive producer. Meanwhile, the upcoming Apple movie’s storyline has been kept under wraps.

However, De Armas has a busy schedule ahead of her, with three movies already set to come out in 2022, including Deep Water with ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck. She will also once again be alongside Evans in Netflix’s The Gray Man and is set to star as Marilyn Monroe in Blonde on Netflix. In addition, she is rumored to be the lead in the thriller Ballerina, a spin-off from the John Wick universe.
