It’s almost three weeks into Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against his former wife, Amber Heard. Pirates Of Carribian star has sued The Aquaman actress for $50m over an article she wrote in which she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse. Moreover, Heard is countersuing for $100m.
However, during the trial, many shocking revelations came forward. And among them was Amber Heard dated Elon Musk after parting ways with Johnny Depp. The actor’s former agent Christian Carino told the court about emails sent to him by Amber Heard after she broke up with Elon Musk. Heard reportedly began dating the Tesla founder around the time of her split with Depp in May 2016 and by August the following year they had broken up.
Text messages from 2017 were also read aloud that showed Heard asking Carino to deliver letters to Depp, “I don’t know how or where to start. There’s no way to begin. Finally, I am single, clear in my heart and mind. I just want him to know I love him and that I am sorry.” She also once told Carino that she missed Depp, leading Carino to believe she wanted to reconcile with Depp, as per People.
Meanwhile, it appears Elon Musk will not be testifying in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial. While Musk has been subpoenaed (means a legal document telling someone that they must attend a court of law and give evidence as a witness) to hand over any and all communication he had with Heard about the Pirates of the Caribbean star, the Tesla CEO will not be taking the stand on Heard’s behalf.

Musk’s attorney, Alex Spiro, told Fox News Digital Wednesday his client will not testify. During his testimony, Depp claimed he believed the Tesla boss was seeing his ex-wife while Depp and Heard were married. A source with knowledge of the trial also claimed to the New York Post that James Franco will also be absent from the witness stand. Depp has also claimed Franco and Heard had an affair during Depp and Heard’s marriage.
Meanwhile, the court documents claim that Heard began a romantic relationship with Musk just one month after the Aquaman actress tied the knot with Depp. Per the docs, Musk was there often “late at night” in Depp’s penthouse while Depp was away filming out of the country. Musk also was allegedly given access to the building’s parking garage at the request of Heard and that he would access the home through a penthouse elevator.
