Amber Heard CONFIRMS Exit From Aquaman 2; Reveals Why!

As the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard case takes new turns every day, here's an interesting scoop from the recent trial! Read to know more!

Amber Heard and estranged partner Johnny Depp are making heads turn every day because of their ongoing legal battle over the past couple of months. Almost every day, there’s a new revelation about the ex-couple’s shared past life, some interesting while others are too unrealistic to believe. With Amber and Johnny accusing each other of bizarre things, the trial’s getting more steam each passing day.

Fans, on the other hand, have extended their help to Johnny Depp, as a whole lot of people have constantly been criticising Amber since the beginning of the trial. The actress has been subjected to endless trolling and gets mocked on social media almost every other day, eventually affecting her professional image as an actor.

The actress took to her stand in the courtroom and revealed how she is struggling to reappear again on the big screen as ‘Mera’, her character from the movie ‘Aquaman’, because of all the negative publicity surrounding her due to the trial. Heard also revealed, how she was paid $2 million, to essay the character of Mera in the sequel of the film, which, however, she isn’t a part of anymore.

“They released me from my contract. And I fought to stay in it, and they kept me in it. I just don’t know how much I’m in, actually, of the final cut. I don’t know if I will even be in the final cut or how much I will be. It was difficult to stay in the movie.” she confirmed.

She initially played the 2017 Justice league and reprised in the 2018 Super-Hit Aquaman. Although Amber confirmed her exit from the contract of the sequel of the film, owing to the negative publicity caused by the trial, many inside reports have suggested that the real reason is perhaps, something else. The reports revealed show Amber had a difficult time making on-screen chemistry with the male lead, Jason Momoa, which apparently was the real reason why the actress’ contract was terminated.

While, as of now, no official statement is released regarding the new female lead that would replace Heard in Aquaman 2. More news on this is expected as the release date of the film approaches.

Earlier, ex-wife Amber was alleged of hitting Johnny and physically abusing him, to which she had replied, “There are many times I had to use my body to defend myself, and that included slapping wherever I could. If it meant I could get away, absolutely, or the difference between a sore face and a broken nose… I tried to defend myself when I could, but it was after years of not defending myself.”
