Amanda Seyfried Reunites With ‘Chloe’ Director Atom Egoyan

Titled 'Seven Veils', the film will see Amanda in the role of a theatre director.

Emmy Award-winner Amanda Seyfried is set to reunite again with her ‘Chloe’ (2009) director Atom Egoyan. Chloe was an erotic thriller, but this time, they will be reuniting for an emotional drama ‘Seven Veils’.

Amanda will be seen playing Jennie, a theater director who is tasked with reforming her former mentor’s most well-known work, the opera ‘Salome’, which is based on Oscar Wilde’s play. Jeanine knows that she has some big shoes to fill in putting her own spin on this classic masterpiece and as she begins her work, her old trauma resurfaces.

Along with directing, Atom Egoyan is also writing and producing the film along with Niv Fichman, Simone Urdl, Fraser Ash and Kevin Krikst. As per latest report in Variety, shooting for Seven Veils is scheduled to begin next week in Toronto. The details about the rest of the cast and crew are still under wraps.

Amanda recently won her first Emmy award for her performance of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the Hulu show ‘The Dropout’. Along with ‘Seven Veils’ the actress will also be seen in an upcoming anthology series ‘The Crowded Room’. The series is created by Akiva Goldsman for Apple TV+ and also stars Tom Holland, Will Chase, Thomas Sadoski.
