Adam Sandler has responded to Chris Rock’s jokes about Will and Jada Smith, scroll down to find out what he said.

Adam Sandler opens up about his thoughts about Chis Rock’s show on Netflix live “Chris Rock’s Selective Outrage,” where the comedian finally addressed the Oscars incident after a year.

Adam was attending an event on Sunday to accept the 2023 Mark Twain Prize American Humour, while on the red carpet, the comedian and actor expressed his feelings and said, “Never in my life,” when he was asked if Chris went too far with his jokes. The actor further said, “I thought he was unbelievably relaxed, funny, thoughtful,” and “Crushed it and was real to himself.”

The actor told People, “And it was as exciting to watch as when the Super Bowl is on,” he added, “I thought about it all weekend. ‘All right, Rock is doing his thing tonight!’ Saturday, I watched it in my kitchen, laughed my a** off, and immediately watched it right after. It was one of the best experiences. I thought it was amazing.”

Chris Rock, while on his show, finally addressed the Oscars slap and took a gig against Will Smith and his wife Jada. During his roast, he said at one point “His wife was f**king her son’s friend.” Many people thought that Chris went too far with his jokes but a lot of people supported Chris including Adam Sandler, Dana Carvey, and Rob Schneider.

Selective Outrage was mainly based on cancel culture. When Adam was asked about his thoughts on cancel culture he said, “I don’t know. The comedy I’m watching right now. I’m loving.”

Rob Schneider also came in support of Chris Rock following allegations that Chris went too far with the jokes.

Rod told People, “He’s outrageous. He’s incredible. He really does set the bar,” he added, “He’s able to take really complex societal ideas and make them hilarious and bring us on board to some place of sanity, some place of reason. He’s so hilariously reasonable. He subverts us to his point of view, and that’s his genius. And modern comedy changed after Chris Rock, truthfully, 25 years ago.”
