Hollywood actor Lance Reddick, best known for his roles in The Wire and the John Wick series, passed away at the age of 60. His body was discovered at his Studio City residence on March 17 at about 9:30 a.m., according to reports. Despite the fact that the exact cause of death is still unknown, sources assert that it was a natural death. The actor, who plays Charon in John Wick: Chapter 4, went on a press tour for the movie, which will be released on March 24.
As per the reports, he was supposed to make a guest appearance on Kelly Clarkson’s talk show the following week. Fans are mourning the loss of their favorite actor. One fan wrote, “Sir, all your roles were so amazing and you seem like such a lovely person. Rest in peace and power.” Another fan wrote, “Taken away way too soon, thank you for being one of my favorite actors. Especially when it came to Destiny. Rest In Parade.”

The prison drama series Oz gave Reddick his first big part in 2000, where he portrayed an undercover officer after making sporadic appearances during the first few years. In 2002, he was then chosen to play a police lieutenant on the drama series The Wire. From 2008 to 2013, Reddick also appeared in the science fiction series Fringe, for which he received two Saturn Award nominations. Another significant role in his career was as a deputy chief officer in the police drama series Bosch from 2014 to 2021.
Reddick is survived by his wife, Stephanie, as well as his children, Christopher Reddick and Yvonne Nicole Reddick.
