50 Cent’s New Horror Film Causes Cameraman To Pass Out: Watch

Rapper 50 Cent is shooting his new horror film, “Skill House.” The movie seems to be so terrifying that it's making the people shooting it loses consciousness.

The movie will examine the drawbacks of social media and internet culture and has been compared to “Saw.” Josh Stolberg, the director, revealed on social media that a cameraman fell asleep for 30 minutes while filming a particularly gory death scene.

A medic was rushed in to take care of the crew member, but TMZ reports that he was OK and quickly returned to work. Although 50 was not there on the stage when the event took place, he addressed it on Instagram. The video showing the man passing out was obtained by TMZ Hip Hop. The actor captioned a shot of fake blood with, “The camera fell to the ground while filming, This s* is gonna be crazy for real.”

Director Stolberg tweeted, “Yikes!!! We shot a kill scene last night and the camera operator became so nauseated that he passed out and the camera crashed to the ground. Had to stop down for a 1/2 hour. He’s okay now but… get ready for some crazy s*!'” Additionally, he stated that the cameraman “couldn’t take how real it was” and “passed out cold for 30 min from the scene.” An actor covered in blood appears at the start of the clip. Before the cameraman collapses, the camera moves a lot.

The movie explores the shadowy side of influencer culture and social media, as well as the lengths people would go to in order to obtain the perfect photo. The film also includes UFC veteran Paige VanZant, TikTok sensation Bryce Hall, Leah Pipes, McCarrie McCausland, Ivan Leung, and Neal McDonough in addition to 50 Cent. Skill Home is being shot in Los Angeles at Sway House, a TikTok ‘collab house.’ The film will be released early next year.

When the casting for 50 was announced on Deadline in early July, producer Ryan Kavanaugh appeared ecstatic about the project. “This film is bursting with mavericks of entertainment, many of them spanning multiple genres and platforms,” said Kavanaugh. He continued, “From a global rap and hip-hop music icon to a businessman, actor, writer, and producer if anyone knows a thing or two about breaking the boundaries, it’s 50 Cent. I’m honoured to work alongside him as we watch Bryce do the same with his career.
