Spooky season is at the corner but vampires have a way of always fascinating audiences. Maybe it’s the immortal life, the teeth, or the allure of a dark supernatural persona that are the reasons that made the vampire movies or tv series close to the heart. However, the subject of vampires has a long history dating back to the famous book written in 1897 by Bram Stoker titled Dracula.
Moreover, vampires have evolved into being blood-sucking creatures who may or may not sparkle or burn in sunlight. They have also gotten more good-looking to add to their unworldly appearance. Vampires are a genre of film and television that will never grow old. However, Netflix has more than enough binge-worthy content that will suffice anyone’s hunger for vampires.
The Vampire Diaries
When it comes to the vampire genre, the first name that would come to mind is The Vampire Diaries. The show helped skyrocket the genre into teen pop culture. From vampires, werewolves, witches, to romances, the show has everything that audiences were craving for! The show was based on the popular book series of the same name by L.J. Smith.
However, the shows had everything audiences were craving from vampires, werewolves, witches, and brooding and seductive romances. The screenplay follows Elena Gilbert (played by Nina Dobrev) who must adjust to life after her parent’s death. She soon meets a mysterious new student named Stefan Salvatore (played by Paul Welsey). She soon falls in love with Stefan but he is actually a vampire. His arrival sparks the town’s deep-rooted supernatural history and newcomers.
Twilight
Twilight movie series is the another most watched vampire movie. The core of the series was the romance but often problematic between vampire Edward Cullen and mortal Bella Swan, with werewolf Jacob Black in between.
The Originals
If you have finished the whole season of The Vampire Diaries, then it is time to stream its spin-off series, The Originals. This show has more than enough vampire charisma to quench any fan with twists and turns of werewolves. Fans fell in love with some of the original show’s characters, especially Klaus Mikaelson. Hence the new revolving around him and his return to New Orleans.He reunites with his brother to investigate rumors and plots against him. He finds his old protegee at the heart of it and creates tension amongst the supernatural. The Mickelson family reunites to regain control with the help of witches.

From Dusk Till Dawn
From Dusk Till Dawn is a horror and crime thriller. The storyline moves around the snake-like creatures who feast on blood. The cast struggles to survive the night. However, the show is based on the famous Quentin Tarantino film of the same name. The show takes story elements from the film, the direct-to-video films, and the comics to create a new unique show about bloodsuckers.
The show starts with many of the popular plot elements seen in the original film. The Gecko brothers are wanted by the FBI and take a family hostage and reroute to a strip club in Mexico. The show develops the storyline from the film much further to make an enticing series.
