Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was recently questioned by Mumbai Police in Sushant Singh Rajput case. It is reported that Bhansali was planning to cast Sushant in four films but the projects were either shelved or Sushant was replaced with other actors. On being asked about the same by police, Bhansali told that Sushant Singh Rajput’s dates were not available for his projects, so the roles were offered to other actors. Statements of 34 people, including family, friends, co-stars and close aides have been taken so far. Sushant’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, his last co-star Sanjana Sanghi were amongst a few who were investigated. Sushant was found dead in his apartment on June 14. The police are investigating allegations of professional rivalry, apart from clinical depression that might have drove him to suicide. Meanwhile, the trailer of Sushant’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ has come out and is the hearts of people. It will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from July 24 onwards.
