As the makers revealed a new video showing the good-old memories of the late actress Meena Kumari, aiming to focus on her love-life with Kamal Amrohi – multiple reactions have come out. The most interesting out of all are the fans screaming Stree 2 star Shraddha Kapoor’s name constantly.

Fans Want Shraddha Kapoor To Portray Meena Kumari
Kamal Aur Meena, the iconic biopic is helmed by celebrity designer Manish Malhotra alongwith Siddharth P Malhotra. As soon as the announcement video was out, fans were overwhelmed by the soft love story outlined in it. Comments flooded as they reacted to Kamal aur Meena and offering their views and feedback on the same. Almost 60% of the public wishes to see Shraddha Kapoor to portray the role of the iconic Meena Kumari.

Reacting upon the announcement video shared by the entire team of Kamal aur Meena, a user commented, “Please cast Shraddha Kapoor in this >>>>>”. Another user wrote, “Why not to cast an outsider!? If you feel right cast Avinash Tiwary as the male lead opposite of Shraddha Kapoor he’s a good actor but underrated.” The comment box was completely filled with excited fans only showering the Stree 2 lady’s name for the film’s lead role.
The fans interest seemed divided when it was about the male lead. Names like Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan and Avinash Tiwary could be seen to be casted opposite Shraddha. This undivided fanbase for the lady is a powerful example to show what fame she holds amid her fans. This recognition has multiplied into hundreds post Stree 2’s blockbuster hit. Earlier Kriti Sanon’s name had come up to portray the female lead role in the biopic. However, so far there is no official details on the actors for the movie. Malhotra previously disclosed that the entire Amrohi family is going to give in their contribution to the film. All other details were however, kept under wraps.
