The first day of Pushpa release has welcomed a major trouble for superstar Allu Arjun. After a major chaos broke out in Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, the actor has been charged with a case against him and the entire team of Pushpa 2. A 35 yer old woman Revathi was thrashed in the mob that gathered in the theatre after Allu Arjun made a surprise visit to the theatre for Pushpa 2 screening. The woman, out of suffocation died at the spot,while a young boy, referred to be her son was heavily injured. Police officials tried giving CPR to the mother-son but could not save them. Hyderabad police has now filed a new case against the actor for not informing the management prior to his visit.

Complaint Against Allu Arjun
Hyderabad police stated that Allu Arjun’s security team and the management of Sandhya Theatre, where the screening was held, have been booked under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118(1) (voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The Pushpa 2 team gave no intimiation to the management about their arrival. Thus, the theatre owners had made no arrangements for any VIP entry. Even the entry-exit points for the actor’s team and the common public were not diverted because of lack of communication.
Allu Arjun, along with his wife, co-star Rashmika Mandanna, and more members from Pushpa 2 decided to visit the Sandhya theatre 70mm as a surprise visit. The actor and his security team, along with the crowd, entered the lower balcony area of the theatre. Just minutes later, a huge crowd gathered over the place. Revathi, who felt suffocated was thronged in amongst the Allu Arjun fans along with his son. The situation went out of control after which police performed “laathicharge” inside. According to Hyderabad’s Police Commisioner, “there was no intimation from the side of theatre management or actors team that they will be visiting the theatre…”

A statement from the deceased lady’s husband Bhaskar also came later on, as he shared the shocking demise of his wife. He mentioned how they came to the theatre because his son wanted to watch the movie. “Our son, Sri Teja, is an Allu Arjun fan… We came to the movie only for him. Everyone calls our son ‘Pushpa’. But I cannot bear the loss of my wife…,” Bhaskar said“, he said.
