Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly after surviving innumerable allegations by stepdaughter Esha Verma, charged a defamation suit, seeking a 50 crore amount as its compensation. The legal notice was sent via celebrity lawyer Sana Raees Khan after Esha Verma came out with fresh accusations on Rupali and also included her father Ashwin K Verma and Rupali’s 11 year old son. However, upon receiving the legal notice, stepdaughter Esha Verma took her video down from social media. The video where she spilled out the allegations against the actress and slammed Rupali-Ashwin’s public image was deleted shortly after the defamation suit was charged, letting people think that she got scared of the consequences that are going to come next.

Not only this, Esha Verma has also turned her instagram account private. Further, Rupali’s lawyer Sana Raees Khan also informed that the 26 year old stepdaughter has also deleted her twitter account followed by the video. Sana spoke to IANS, a media outlet where she expressed her opinion on the legal victory. She mentioned, “Her stepdaughter has taken down the defamatory posts following our legal notice and even deleted her Twitter account. This outcome reflects our victory for truth and accountability, reaffirming that reckless and harmful statements have no place in the public sphere.” Further Sana also added that this deletion of the posts not only strengthens their case but also reflects an acknowledgement from Esha’s side upon her wrongdoing for ruining Rupali Ganguly’s public image.
Before the video got deleted, it had reached to alot of people where Esha called out her father and Rupali the ‘real bullies’ of her life. She exclaimed that she is sorry for coming so far, but this is because none of them ever apologised to her. The issue came into the limelight after a 2020 facebook post by Esha Verma began to resurface on the internet. After this. Esha took to her instagram and twitter handles to share that she still stands to the statements she made 4 years ago.
