The sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput left everyone utterly shocked. The Kai Po Che actor died of suicide on June 14, 2020, and his dead body was found hanging at his Bandra residence by a house-help.
Post the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, the trailer of his last outing in Bollywood titled Dil Bechara released on YouTube and garnered a lot of praise and attention. The audience is excited and sad at the same time, knowing that this will be for the last time that they will see Sushant in any movie.
Meanwhile, AR Rahman who has composed the album for the film Dil Bechara is all set to pay a virtual tribute to Sushant. The music composer cum singer took to his Twitter handle to announce the same, he wrote, “Catch us on 22nd July at 12 p.m. @disneyplushsvip & @sonymusicindia for a musical tribute to our beloved #SushantSinghRajput #DilBechara.”
Some of the big names of the music industry like Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Sashaa Tirupati, Jonita Gandhi, Hriday Gattani, Sunidhi Chauhan alongside lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya will participate in the virtual tribute to pay an ode to the late actor.
The director of the film Mukesh Chhabra thanked music maestro AR Rahman for the tribute and wrote, “Thank you so much @arrahman sir for doing this for Sushant, a beautiful tribute dedicated to him. Out of his own love arrahman has created this beautiful gesture, a big thank you, will forever be grateful. All of you have already showed us so much love towards the #DilBechara album, here is something more special to look forward to, catch it live on 22nd July 12pm on Disney+Hotstar and @sonymusicindia musical tribute to my brother #SushantSinghRajput.”
Helmed by Mukesh Chhabra, Dil Bechara will release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24.
